Resumen

Introducción. La dermatitis atópica canina es una patología cutánea crónica que afecta a una considerable población de perros (Canis lupus familiaris) en todo el mundo, esto conlleva a impactos muy significativos en su bienestar y calidad de vida. Objetivo. El objetivo de esta investigación es realizar una revisión sistemática de la literatura científica para identificar las principales causas de la dermatitis atópica canina y el nivel de evidencia que las sustenta. Metodología. Consiste en la recopilación sistemática de artículos relevantes, utilizando términos de búsqueda específicos relacionados con las causas de la dermatitis atópica canina, se establece criterios de inclusión y exclusión para seleccionar estudios publicados en un rango temporal de 5 años. Resultados. Se espera que los resultados de esta investigación proporcionen una visión actualizada y completa de los avances en las causas de dermatitis atópica canina. Estos hallazgos contribuyen a obtener un artículo de investigación completo de las causas de esta patología. Conclusión:  La dermatitis atópica canina presenta una etiología compleja, involucrando factores genéticos, ambientales e inmunológicos. Los tratamientos actuales, aunque variados, ofrecen resultados dispares y requieren manejo a largo plazo. Se necesitan más estudios para identificar biomarcadores y desarrollar terapias personalizadas.
